I use 1 fisherman per 10-ish population by river locations, I normally use more for coast, but sometimes you also need more fishermen based upon how far they have to walk to fish. Remember to add people to your group as your tribe grows, and change the sliders to allow for restocking of prey during spring and summer if you can afford it. This is due to plant-produce income in summer, while fishing provides the protein. (This is at birth of Tribe, up as tribe grows, or need)

I have 1 Hunter on default prey-size during Spring and Summer, and up it to 2-6 in Autumn and Winter, pending on stock. The more hunters you have, the more likely this scenario is (for a 12 hour workday).ДЇor longer survival in same locality I recommend that you do not over-hunt. Meat cant be the #1 all-year food income, unless you max sliders and hunt all to extinction. This does not mean my sightings represent all the correct locality or species, it means only that this is what I have seen :)ДЇrom Birth to roughly 50-ish members in Tribe with 12 hour workday: Highlands and Mountainous areas always have all species from my experience. I have hunted boars basically everywhere,Дeer seem to thrive mostly in coniferous and mountain forests, and Hares seem also to thrive in many areas, yet I have not seen any by the coast yet.

Prey-type is bound to locality, and amount to season if I understand it correctly.

You can get unlucky and basically have no animals coming to your area, while some are moving out of your area. You as a player are also pending on the birth of offspring, and migration in and out of your area. The Wildlife conservation is decided by the player via the slider options of prey in your Hunter group selections.
